Vacancy Details: Navik (General Duty) 10 + 2 Entry – 02/2020 Batch – 260 Posts UR (General) – 113 EWS – 26 OBC – 75 ST – 13 SC – 33
The wages 21700 / – as basic pay (pay level-3) as well as dearness allowance and other allowances as per the nature of duty/post of posting at the time of joining as per the prevailing rule.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Sailor GD Posts: Educational Qualification and Experience: 10 + 2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics and Physics from Education Board recognized by Central / State Government
(Minimum cut off of 5% for SC / ST candidates and outstanding national level sports personnel who have secured first, second or third place in any field sports events in Open National Championship / Interstate National Championship This exemption will also apply to the wards of deceased Coast Guard Uniform personnel while in service.
Age Range: 18 to 22 years Selection Procedure for the posts of Indian Coast Guard Naval GD: The shortlisting will be based on a higher percentage of marks obtained by the candidates for Criteria, Particular Examination Center.
The qualifying cut-off percentage (%) in a particular center can be increased if the number of applications with a higher percentage is received. The written examination will be objective type, which will generally include subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Basic Chemistry, English subject knowledge up to 12th standard, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning, etc
Candidates who qualify the written exam will have to undergo a physical fitness test (PFT) and this testing procedure will take about 2 days
