Indian Army NCC Special Entry Recruitment 2020: Indian Army has published notification for NCC Special Entry Scheme 48th Course (October 2020) for Short Service Commission (NT) Recruitment. Interested and eligible men and women (including wards of army personnel killed in battle) can apply online from 08 January to 06 February 2020.
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Important Dates: Starting date for application – 08 January 2020 Last date for application – 06 February 2020 Indian Army NCC Special Entry Vacancy Details: NCC Male – 50 posts (45 for general category and 05 for wards of war casualties of army personnel) NCC Women – 5 posts (04 for general category and 01 for war casualties wards of army personnel)
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications: For NCC ‘C’ certificate holders: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for all years. Candidates studying in the final year are also allowed to apply, provided they have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the second / third year degree course and third / fourth year degree course respectively.
For war casualties wards of Army personnel: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. NCC ‘C’ certificate is not required for wards of battle casualty.
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Selection Process: The Integrated Headquarters of MOD (Army) will shortlist the applications. After shortlisting the applications, the candidates will be notified through their email by Center Allotment (Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab). After selection center allotment Candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first come first serve basis. After this it will be allotted by the selection centers.
