SSC CGL Tier – I, Tier – II, Tier – III and Tier – IV Exam Pattern 2018
The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination is conducted every year in four stages by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), where passing each stage depends on the minimum requirements of separate posts. SSC CGL 2018 exam will be conducted in four levels i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III and Tier-IV as shown in the table below-
Over the years, SSC has made some changes in the exam pattern. Students should note the changes in the exam pattern and syllabus before starting the preparation for SSC CGL exam. Some of the important points that you have to keep in mind are given below-
Tier-I Objective Type Examination This will be of 60 minutes duration in online mode.
The Tier II Objective Type Examination will consist of 2 papers, each paper of 60 minutes duration in online mode.
Apart from this, there will be two other examinations which will be compulsory for students related to statistical and finance respectively.
Tier-III descriptive examination will be of 60 minutes duration in pen and paper mode.
There will be no sectional cut off in Tier-4.
